Let’s ask ourselves:
Who are we?
Where do we come from?
Where are we going?
What are we living for?
Why are we living?
Can heaven and hell be proven by direct experience and not by blind faith or belief? Why do we fear hunger, loneliness, sickness, poverty? Is there a way to overcome many of these fears? Am I really thinking and feeling on my own, deprived from any external influence? What happens after death? Is Re-Incarnation possible?…
When we start answering any of these questions by direct experience, that is your Gnosis!
Direct experience implies seeing, touching, and feeling with our conscience and internal senses; “beyond our body, mind, and affects”.
From the Greek, Gnosis means Knowledge and in rigorous Esoteric Terms, Gnosis is the Initiation Knowledge that leads to our Inner God, our Real Being here and now, and ultimately, it guides us to the Self-Realization of the Being.
The Self-Realization of the Being can be defined as the full development of all Human and Spiritual possibilities and the fusion of the Human and Divine within each person.
Gnosis is found within the depths of the conscience; it is our innate heritage. It has always been part of us since the dawn of Creation.
Unfortunately, humanity has forgotten how to tap into this Knowledge; throughout the ages, we deviated from the path that leads to the Self-Realization of the Being, due to our vices and bad habits.
Gnosis was taught in the Schools of Mysteries from Egypt, Greece, India, China, Mexico, Peru, Troy, Rome, Carthage, Chaldea, etc., etc.
Gnosis incorporates a practical and analytical approach to the four branches of Knowledge: Art, Science, Philosophy and World Religions (Mysticism).
Now, this Ancient Knowledge is being taught publicly once again, due to the critical times humanity faces. It is the only solution to answer and solve the most basic problems at the individual level:
“The populace is the sum of all individuals. The populace is what the individual is; it is the government, etc. … The populace, then, is the extension of the individual; it is impossible to change people and populace if the individual does not change himself.” Samael Aun Weor.
The facts speak for themselves; if we do not embark “To Know” ourselves with the purpose of changing, our future can be easily predicted… Further degeneration in all levels of society until total collapse and destruction.
Gnosis is practical from beginning to end, it is important to learn all the basic concepts. Progress can be achieved once you practice constantly the techniques to acquire your own knowledge, your own Gnosis. Practice makes perfect!
